Everyone of us has experienced headache once in a while.It really shows the hell for the person.We feel like dying instead of experiencing it.Headache not only hurts our body or mind, it also effects our work,studies,interaction with others,decisions and sometimes even relationships.It is estimated that every year in America alone 1 lakh people go to doctor due to tension headache.

First, consult a doctor and take a proper medication for curing it.Apart from doing this, we can also follow some advices given here to give us some relief.Some of them are explained below in detail.
- Most of the times Headache comes due to stress. So,try to be away for sometime from the things or persons that are affecting us.
- Take proper and regular sleep. Proper in the sense, sleeping regularly at some specific timings.
- Take bath with hot water.If possible relax sometime in the tub.
- Keeping icepack on your head,neck also works in relieving your headache(a bit atleast).
- Taking coffee in limited amounts activates us but if taken in large amounts produces headache.
- Massaging the neck,shoulders,head,forehead also helps in reducing the pain.
- Stop doing the work involving strain especially those causing eye-strains like computer work,studying etc.
- Some foods like chocolates cause headaches.So its better to ask your doctor regarding them and avoid eating them.
- Do some exercise daily.It keeps us fit and healthy.
- Do not skip meals, and avoid prolonged fasting.
